I'm Aqil Munawar

My name is Aqil Munawar, though most of my students simply call me Aqil. I’ve been teaching English since 2018, with over five years of experience across different levels of education. I began my teaching journey at MI Nur-Attaqwa, an Islamic primary school in North Jakarta. In 2023, I continued my career at Sekolah Bukit Mulia, a trilingual "Sekolah Nasional Plus" located in Pluit, where I taught primary students using the Cambridge curriculum. Currently, I teach vocational students at SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 2 Jakarta, East Jakarta, focusing on English for Office Administration and Business. My teaching is driven by dedication and a deep passion for education, and I continue to grow as an educator each day. In terms of education, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Culture from Darma Persada University (2015–2019), where I explored English both as a language and as a part of global culture. I pursued my Master’s degree in Applied English Linguistics at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (2021-2024), where I deepened my knowledge of English structures, dialects, and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), including how to deliver English content based on learners' needs effectively. I created this website to share my experiences, methods, and materials with fellow teachers, students, and anyone passionate about English education. My goal is to help improve the quality of English teaching and learning practically, purposefully, and meaningfully.
